Outline
Robotics is one of the fastest growing industries in the world. Knowledge in robotics engineering requires a mix of backgrounds, including mechanical, electrical, and programming. Robotics teaches design, innovation, problem solving, and teamwork at the same time learning about computer programming, math, science and technology. Robotics puts academic concepts in context.
The curriculum used is produced by Carnegie Mellon’s University Robotics Academy. It is research-based, aligns with standards and focuses on the development of 21st century skill sets in students.
People of all ages are fascinated as a robot moves around an environment seemingly making decisions on its own. The skill sets students learn as they work with robotics can easily be transferred to careers and professions.
